This documentary examines the social taboos that prevail in India's social-cultural framework. Sanam, a young schoolgirl, experiences a psychological transformation from a girl to a boy, leading her to cut her hair, adopt a boy's attire, walk, and behave accordingly. One day, when she arrives late for class, the teacher humiliates, bullies, and abuses her in the classroom. The teacher even asked her to remove her underwear in order to verify her gender. At such a critical moment, she even thinks of committing suicide. The compassionate principal of her school shows her a way out by giving Kuhi, a member of the LGBTQ community, a mobile number. Through her encounter with Kuhi, Sanam discovers herself in a new world and finds her own space
